Brick a Leg!

Me and my kids are assembled from cells that have received demolition orders. We have osteogenesis imperfecta, an inborn brittle bones disease as a piquant characteristic. It feels like being an egg, meringue, or an insect’s wing. That’s why we hate slippery things. Snow-covered frozen puddles, freshly varnished floors, stairways after rain, and plastic bags preying on supermarket floors.

When my son got a cast during my art grant season, I had to combine the art and child care. The result was a few films and a lot of text inspired by this family feature.
