This carousel brings out wheelchairs in an atractive light. Many people are seriously afraid of trying the seat, that is liberating for others. In 2015, performance will visit events in different parts of southern Finland. The audience have an opportunity to be photographed in the golden wheelchair and they are encouraged to share these images in social media with the hashtag #wheelcarousel.

With this work I want to remind people from the ongoing global fight for our full human rights and about the fact, that Finland has not ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
